The University enlarges international contacts. VSHU has partner relations with different international organizations and funds (Tempus-Tacis, DAAD, Heinrich Boell Stiftung, IREX, Ford Funds), with national development programs of academic cooperation with Sweden, Japan, Taiwan and other countries. Stable connections with European Council’s Committee of Education, with Embassy of France in Moscow are being supported.  VSHU cooperates with the Troy State University (Alabama, the USA), the Kansas State University (Kansas, the USA), the Teachers’ Training University (Kannes, France ), the Kao Yuan University (Kaoshun, Taiwan), the National University (Penhu, Taiwan), Scientific-Educational Centers in Kazakhstan and Byelorussia and  foreign universities of England, Germany, Estonia, China, Ukraine.

Each year VSHU academics win international grants, participate in international programs’ activities in cooperation with leading foreign research centers (Sweden, Japan, the USA).  The students of VSHU are constant members of international competitions, subjects olympiads and exhibitions.
